When in Rome....
Going to the Borghese Gardens was a huge surprise for us. We knew we were going through a garden to get to the Borghese Gallery but we didn't realize how big and beautiful the gardens were that surround it. It was amazingly beautiful, you could literally spend an entire day just strolling and relaxing in the Gardens.
We made our way to the Borghese Gallery and saw some of the most amazing sculptures.
Apollo and Daphne Pluto and Proserpina
After the Museum I talked Chris into renting a little motorized pedal car and spending some time in the garden. (It was a total highlight for me)
We also took some silly pictures.
We couldn't go to Rome and not sit on the Spanish steps. Did we eat Gelato on them like tradition suggests?.......
No, but we kissed and that was romantic enough :)
Oh.... the Trevi Fountian, has got to be one of our very top favorites.
Yes, even though it was overly crowded we did get to sit on the rim of the Fountain and toss our coin in.
